Some Like It Beachy | Clearwater Florida

I was not playing, when I traveled to Clearwater Florida to see the beach and watch the sunset. An image imprinted in my head after seeing a movie and a dear friend’s Facebook page. Vera explores the beautiful scenery of Clearwater Florida.
Clearwater is a small quiet city in Florida, is the smallest of the three principal cities in Tampa-St. Petersburg metropolitan area mostly referred to as the Tampa Bay Area. This city population is over 109703.  To the  west is the gulf of mexico, southeast is Tampa bay.  Clearwater is a home of marine aquarium where bottle nose dolphins live. The city is 100 years old.
Clearwater main language is English, other languages are Spanish, french, Italian and Germany. Public transportation is mainly  by bus. The two airports closest to Clearwater is Tampa International Airport and St-Peterburgh-Clearwater International Airport. Several events takes place annually like Hispanic Heritage Festival, Superbowl International Championship, Clearwater Greek Festival, Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Imagine International Film Festival, Fun & Sun Festival. Clearwater has a humid subtropical climate, Florida is a sunshine state.
I got an invitation from a friend to visit Clearwater, in his words “So you are in town come over to Clearwater Florida sunshine state and come see where the rich  and affluent Americas escape to during winter”. Though visiting Florida was not in my original travel plan, I gladly accepted this invitation.  Life is to live and travel, right!
The nearest major airport to Clearwater is St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).  At this time, I was in Kentucky visiting family, so I had to bring my ability to play and search for the best and cheapest way to get to Clearwater. It was cheaper for me to arrive at Tampa international airport  (TPA).  I got a whooping offer on frontier airline from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky international airport. So I did 2 hours road trip on greyhound bus from Louisville to Cincinnati, pretty cool ride with WIFI access. I was browsing and chatting all the way and 2 hours became 30 minutes.  UBER ride to Cincinnati airport was impossible because I had only cash, but you know the thing about travelers. I had already networked with a pretty woman on-board greyhound, we took a taxi ride together to Cincinnati airport.
Now here is the thing about USA low-cost carriers, fares are crazily cheap if you are travelling with less bags because you pay for your luggage. NO FREE check-in luggage. Despite that, it was still a good deal.
As the name implies, the beach water is very clear that you can find your missing jewelry. Clearwater beach is a 3 mile stretch of white sand along the Gulf and sits on a barrier island. The area includes a resort and residential on the Gulf of Mexico in Pinellas Country on the west-central coast of Florida. Clearwater Beach is at a geographic latitude of 27.57 N and longitude 82.48 W. There are lovely restaurants, hotels, shopping and activities such as boat tours, jet ski rentals, fishing charters, miniature golf and pirates ship cruises. The tides were very friendly during my visit, I walked far into the receptive water.
Clearwater has often been ranked as one of the best beaches in the United states. The climate  is mild and warm throughout the year, although I visited during fall. There are so many fun outdoor activities both on land and  sea, from great music to entertainment, shopping souvenirs, restaurants, bars and nightlife scene. What is also fascinating is that, there are offers for every visitor and every budget. The beach is filled with so many visitors and residents soaking up the sun and fun of Clearwater beach. This sugar-white sand beach and water is a natural beauty.
A must watch is the sunset at Clearwater beach, I dare not miss this moment and lifetime experience. Every year hundreds of tourist come to watch the sun as it sets at Clearwater beach. Its magical and a natural view from the beach. That moment! from where i was watching the yellow sun gradually disappeared into the deep ocean with moving white-blue clouds and mix of colors reflecting on the water.
It was indeed a moment. I witness lovers of nature swim along the setting of the sun and many visitors taking selfies of this moment.  After that, I went on my boat cruise, a surprise package from my host.
Surely! a story for another day.
