Happy Worker’s Day!!!
To everyone out there who is genuinely working and fulfilling a need. May your labour of love and ministry not go unrewarded. Hold unto every vision of yours for, it is the seed to your greatness as the scripture admonishes; Habakkuk 2:2 ”And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it”
Oh yes! We are decorating a nursery. Remember Uwaoma? I did a makeover for her living room in Port Harcourt some time last year and I blogged about it here and here. I got a call from her sister who lives here in Lagos, she contacted me to set up a nursery for her as she is expecting to put to bed in few months. But who doesn’t love referrals? Thanks Uwaoma for believing in me.
After discussing the scope of the project and ideas, I took a few ”Before” pictures of the room so we can see where the project started from and be able to celebrate the milestone when we have completed it. Truth is, this particular project is a bit of a tough one as space will not just allow somebody to shine (Na wa to Naija Landlords!).
The pictures below shows all we’ve got to be creative and we decided to use the space by the first picture as the focal point.
The plan is to WOW the soon-to-be mum with the nursery as she returns from obodo-oyibo (abroad) with her new born. Come along with me as we make this happen. And be sure to see sneak peaks here and there as the project progresses.
So tell me, will you set up a nursery for your new born and why?
What are the decor items you would want to see in a nursery?
